Mark Whalen
Mark is the Manager of Controls and Automation, Pennecon Energy Technical Services.

Allison Jones
Allison has many years of experience in office administration and accounting functions in a variety of businesses including construction and heavy manufacturing and has been with The Panel Shop since 2010. Allison’s primary roles include office administration, payroll, expense accounting, reception and technical clerk.

Michael (Mike) Hickey, P.Tech.
Mike is a graduate of the NB Community College Electronic Technology Program in Data Communications and has been with The Panel Shop since 1996. Mike’s primary role is that of senior designer  and programmer for PLC and GUI based control systems including SCADA system configuration and radio communication systems. Mike is also the Manager of our Water and Wastewater Division and is responsible for business development, training and customer relations for our water and wastewater customers.

Zachary (Zak) Rideout
Zak is a graduate of St Francis Xavier University and of the NS Community College in Electrical Engineering Technology. And has been with the Panel Shop since 2009. Zak’s primary role is that of an electrical designer and PLC programmer in the water and wastewater sector and other industrial and OEM applications. Zak performs the role of estimator, product procurement and project management for small, medium and large projects.

Shelley McKinney, P.Tech.
Shelley is a graduate of the NB Community College in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology and has been with The Panel Shop since 1995. Shelley’s primary role is that of a designer and project manager. Her role also includes the preparation of drawings, quotations and material selection and procurement activities.

Kevin Drapeau
Kevin has 15 years of experience in the manufacturing sector and has been with The Panel Shop since 2006. Kevin’s primary role is that of production manager and includes scheduling logistics, supervision of assembly technicians, health and safety and product testing. Kevin also assists with site commissioning and trouble-shooting including that of support role in the operation and maintenance of SCADA systems.

Eric Mersereau
Eric has been employed at The Panel Shop since 1998 and has become our shop assembly specialist. Eric does most of the shipping and receiving activities, trains new assemblers, oversees testing of completed projects and assists with site commissioning activities.

Shop Assembly Technicians
In addition to Kevin and Eric, both of whom have a part time assembly function, we regularly employ 3-5 assembly technicians. Currently, you may ask for Tim, or Frank.
